One shoot closer to being caught up!!

Shortly after finding out that I was pregnant I had a early morning shoot at the Worman Farm to meet up with the Cottrell’s. It was a very chilly morning and I was already completely exhausted and literally could have slept ALL DAY LONG. Thank goodness I didn’t because I wouldn’t have met this awesome family!!

Another AMAZING shoot with the Abell Family. This year we decided to try something totally new and go to Broad Ripple, I had never taken pictures there before so I had NO idea what to expect. The only bad thing….the sun was INTENSE that morning!!! But of course, the pictures turned out amazing and cute Hudson sure knows how to work the camera! This has to be one of my favorite shoots of the Abell Family! Looking forward to seeing you guys in April for Hudson’s big 4th Birthday party!!!!

CLEARLY I am WAY behind at blogging and I am SO sorry if you have been waiting to see your beautiful face up on my new blog. But I’m going to try to start blogging my 10…yes TEN shoots from Fall of 2011! So be ready for some adorable shoots to come!

Here is the beautiful Tennery Family on their amazing house in Waynetown, Indiana. I wish I lived in this house, it is magazine perfect and of course the trees were absolutely beautiful this fall. A HUGE congrats to the Tennery Family as they are expecting baby #3!!!

I just wanted to make a quick announcement that booking shoots for 2012 (June through October 1st) is officially over. I am completely booked and cannot add on any additional shoots at this time.

Our baby girl is due to come in early July and I need to take some personal time off before she comes into our lives. I will start scheduling for Fall 2012 sessions in August, if you are interested in scheduling for Fall 2012, please email me and we can discuss scheduling.

It was the busiest day of the year for me, with multiple shoots all at the IMA..one right after another, it was also one of the chilliest mornings and EXTREEEMELY windy. I knew Natalie really didn’t want to do outdoor shoots since Amelia wasn’t quite walking by herself and in an unfortunate instance I had a client that completely forgot about her scheduled shoot. So I quickly got on my phone and told her family to stay home. I was headed up to Carmel for the most AMAZING indoor photoshoot I think I’ve EVER had to date! Enjoy the fun & smiles you will get with this awesome family!

rachel: senior 2012

I never thought I would be the lucky photographer to take senior pictures of my own niece! When I was asked to take these senior pictures I have to say…..I’ve never been so nervous in my entire life!!! It’s not that I didn’t think I was qualified enough to do it, I just knew that there are photographers out there that specialize in senior pictures and most of all I did NOT want to upset my sister-in-law! Of course they came out absolutely perfect and I couldn’t be more happy with the final product.

Rachel has never had professional pictures taken so at first she was a little confused on what to do. This wasn’t the first picture we took but we had to get Rachel in HER comfort zone! If you know Rachel…………you know this first picture is her 110%. Ms. Rachel, I am SO proud to be your aunt and especially proud of you for keeping your head on straight and keeping your grades up and going straight to college. You are going to be looked up to one day by your little niece/nephew someday soon!

One year ago I had the opportunity to take this little man’s 1-year pictures at the IMA on a very cold fall/wintery day. This fall we were blessed with beautiful weather and of course, an adorable 2-year old with killer blue eyes! I’m telling you….he knows what he’s doing when he sees my camera. He is a natural!!!!

I’m really not exactly sure where to begin on the amazingness of this photo shoot! This was a long-waited shoot and the day was full of sunshine….until 20 minutes before the shoot it was a down pour. We still took our chances and God was looking over us because the rainbow came out (you’ll see in a picture below) and we ended up with an OUTSTANDING shoot!!
