Session Details

Each session usually lasts about 45 minutes to an hour…but there is no rush! Children sometimes warm up different so we may have to play around a little bit before I can start snapping! Schedule a children’s session when they are the happiest! Please feel free to bring toys, snacks, juice, etc. Whatever it takes to get that perfect natural smile!

Newborns don’t need to wear anything but their sweet skin. If you have any special blankets, diaper covers, or hats…those are all perfect for newborns. I will come into your home and do whatever it takes to make your newborn warm and comfortable. You just sit back and relax and let me do all the hard work!

Seniors need to be prepared with 3-5 outfits. Location is completely up to you, we can even go to two different locations if you want to change things up. Senior sessions generally take 2 hours but again time is not limited…unless we’re still shooting after 4 hours!

What to wear

I get asked SO often “what should we wear”? Well I don’t have that answer….you can wear whatever you want! I want you and your family to be 100% comfortable. Maybe let your kids pick out an outfit? If he wants to wear his underwear on top of his shorts or head, maybe she wants to dress like a princess. Go for it!!!  You can always change into another outfit during the session. I want silliness, tickling, singing, seriously I want to capture who you are TODAY as a family.

What happens next?

It generally takes me about a week to two weeks (depending on how busy my schedule is) to get your images edited and back in your hands. I put on average 40 pictures onto a high resolution disc for your personal use. You may print them on your own if you’d like, you may share them on Facebook, with friends & family. If you would like high quality prints, I highly suggest getting prints through me. My printing company is amazing and the turn around time is outstanding. I keep my print prices low because I want you to have the BEST quality pictures hanging in your home without breaking the bank! Canvas Art is available upon request, those take a little longer to get back but I would be more than happy to discuss pricing on Canvas Art!
