  • Welcome.

Hi. I'm Amanda! Thanks for stopping by and taking a minute out of your day to look at my work, my life, my passion. Here is just a little bit about me!

I have never been so passionate about something in my life than I am with photography. I love it when clients become friends and even more I love it when clients keep coming back. I love seeing the joy in someone's eyes when they see the finished product.

I am currently expecting my first child with my best friend, the best man that has ever walked into my life, my husband Ben. We are beyond words excited to start our family this July!

I love to laugh more than anything in this world and even more I love it when laughter is contagious.

2012 blog poll

I am trying to get a poll of what YOU would rather see when you come to my website?! Please leave a quick response by leaving me a quick comment. Thanks! -A

Would you rather see a slideshow like this where you have to click through the images?????

Or view the images like this and scroll through them????

I like to scroll through photos, not a slide show…

Scrolling :)

I think I like scrolling through them…to me it’s faster than the clicking and personally, I like it when you add your two cents between pictures about what you liked about the photo or the shoot. It seems more personal.

I like to scroll!! Can’t wait to see you and your baby bump again soon. :)

Love the way the first one is with lightbox. Personally feel it’s a little more user friendly they can just click on the first image and use their keyboard arrows to go to the next one. :-)

the engledow family

It was the busiest day of the year for me, with multiple shoots all at the IMA..one right after another, it was also one of the chilliest mornings and EXTREEEMELY windy. I knew Natalie really didn’t want to do outdoor shoots since Amelia wasn’t quite walking by herself and in an unfortunate instance I had a client that completely forgot about her scheduled shoot. So I quickly got on my phone and told her family to stay home. I was headed up to Carmel for the most AMAZING indoor photoshoot I think I’ve EVER had to date! Enjoy the fun & smiles you will get with this awesome family!:)

rachel: senior 2012

I never thought I would be the lucky photographer to take senior pictures of my own niece! When I was asked to take these senior pictures I have to say…..I’ve never been so nervous in my entire life!!! It’s not that I didn’t think I was qualified enough to do it, I just knew that there are photographers out there that specialize in senior pictures and most of all I did NOT want to upset my sister-in-law! Of course they came out absolutely perfect and I couldn’t be more happy with the final product.

Rachel has never had professional pictures taken so at first she was a little confused on what to do. This wasn’t the first picture we took but we had to get Rachel in HER comfort zone! If you know Rachel…………you know this first picture is her 110%.  Ms. Rachel, I am SO proud to be your aunt and especially proud of you for keeping your head on straight and keeping your grades up and going straight to college. You are going to be looked up to one day by your little niece/nephew someday soon!;)

Love you to pieces! xoxo

My FAVORITE picture…..
These were so cute I had to post both. I think the horse was smelling her!:)
BEAUTIFUL blue eyes and perfect smile!!!!!:D
